Lacking title page, 7 preliminary leaves (Dedicatory Matter,m Preface and Epigrammata), folios 232 and 235, and 236 to the end (Gesner's Hortae Germaniae and the index). With the armorial bookplate of Charles Atwood Kofoid. A few tiny wormhboles occasionally affecting a letter or a woodcut line, but generally in non-printed areas; some leaves with a light tide mark; a very good copy which, even tough lacking title and colophon, contains all of the celebrated woodcuts. Occasional notes in a contemporary hand which also usually crosses through the name of Gesner.
