With 20 full page plates, of which 20 are fully handcolored and the remaining either partially colored or uncolored. The Medical Section contains plates 30 through 40, all uncolored.
Contemporary full calf, spine in six compartments with raised bands, red leather lettering label, gilt.
The leather is well rubbed and cracked, with neat repairs to the hinges and corners. Plate 7 has two small holes, the second plate in the Medical Section is soiled, and has been mounted and trimmed, else the plates are in fine condition, They are not bound in their numerical order but all are present. As for the text block, there is a closed marginal tear at p. 59, a small wormhole in the text of pp. 81-91, an old repair to p. 232 and some staining to pp. 203-204, some corners are bent, else the text block is in very good condition.
The approximate date of publication is taken from the Preface which is dated "In the Year of Masonary 5798", i.e., approximately 1798 A.D. See Walleriana, 2241. Good. Item #18712
