Red cloth spine, Printed boards in black and red on yellow showing Red knocking at her grandmother's door. Yellow endpapers. Undated but with a gift inscription on the front free endpaper dated 1874 which comports to other copies in the series. This volume is uniform with the other volumes in the National Nursery Library. Light wear to the edges and corners , the inscription has offset to the following leaf, else this is a very good, well-preserved copy. Osborne, p. 46. Tom Thumb, of course, has Arthurian ties.
