Chicago: 1907. Stiff card. Finely lithographed postcard showing the tenor in a role, 3½ by 5½ inches. Inscribed with the date (23-2-07) and the sentiment: With many wishes and greeting. F. Constantino. The reverse of the card is franked with a 2 cent stamp and postmarked Chicago, 1907. Trace of adhesive residue on reverse else a fine exemplar. Florencio Constantino (b. Bilbao, 1869; d. Mexico, 1919) was an operatic tenor and recording artist. He was sometimes known as The Forgotten Tenor because, great as he was, he was not as great as Caruso. Fine. Item #19029
