In the original dustwrapper. a little worn at the edges and folds, and with a slit on the rear panel corresponding to the scratch on the book, but still giving a very good appearance.
Geoffrey's famous history is given in Latin with an English translation of a Welsh manuscript running beneath, all of which is preceded by a long discussion of the extant manuscripts and Geoffrey's sources.
