n.p. n.p., n.d. (1930s). Broadside. Lithographed broadside, approximately 10½ by 12 inches, printed in black with green, gold and blue coloring. The coloring appears to be applied by hand.
This is a map of Scotland showing the wanderings of Charles Edward Stuart after the Battle of Culloden, 1746. Each place is numbered with an explanatory note, beginning with Culloden Moor and ending with No. 10, Charles leaving Scotland for France on the ship L'Heureux. There is also a cartouche showing the genealogy from Charles I to Charles Edward. In all, the travels show the time frame from April 16 to September 19, 1746.
The broadside is mounted to a thin card, and has a hand-applied black border. Light wear around the edges else this is in very good condition. The title running along the bottom is typeset, but all else is the work of the artist.
