This is the story of the famed Aqueduct of Padre Tembleque, constructed between 1553 and 1570 between the Tecajete volcano and Otumba. I covers some territory and ground level, and underground and over ravines and valleys. There are three arcades, 46, 13 and 67 arches. The height of the tallest of the arches is 127 feet (38.75 meters). A marvelous architectural accomplishment by the Franciscan friar, and not a Unesco Heritage Site.

This title is a fine tribute to Tembleque's hydraulic system, finely printed and illustrated.
