Folio. 12pp finely printed letterpress on handmade paper, and embellished with a tipped-in photograph and several linocuts in color engraved by Nacho Gómez. Accompanied by a portfolio of prints by Nacho: Chile, Maiz, Cacao, Frijol, Aguacate, Nopal, Calabaza, Maguey. Each print, finely printed on handmade paper, bears a 16th or 17th century quotation relating to the food, followed by linocut engravings in colors. And each print is signed by the artist. Both the booklet and the portfolio are enclosed in a hardbound cover of yellow paper engraved with a drawing by the artist and with a finely printed pasteon label.
