From a total edition of 500 copies, this is one of 50 printed on paper specially made by hand by Barcham, Green of Hayle Mill. Bound in full morocco with blind tooling by the Eddington Bindery. This is copy XXXII.

This is the first facsimile edition of Caxton's "Fables of Esope", 1484 (STC 175). It reproduces (original size) the unique perfect copy of the work in the Royal Library at Windsor Castle. IT contains a life of Aesop and is illustrated with woodcuts. Caxton translated the fables from Macho's 1482 French version.
