The 13th century Romance celebrates the deeds of Meliadus, father of Tristan, Lac, the father of Erec, and Ban, father of Lancelot du Lac. Over 30 manuscripts have survived. In 1528 the first art of the Romance was printed and this facsimile is form the 1533 issue by Denis Jadot. In French.
While dated 1532, the Jadot edition is considered now to be printed in 1533 because of the adoption of the change of the New Year from March 25 to January 1 in 1582.
