The plate for page 1102, which printed definitions from Pommé to Pomp. Accompanied by a facsimile of page 1102, as well as a letter from R. N. J. Allen, Manager of the Oxford University Press. In it he explains that this 1933 of the O. E. D. was the final edition using electroplates. Subsequent editions used plastic plates and finally nitroplates.
