San Francisco: Kneedler-Fauchère, n.d. (1950's). Hardcover. Very good. Item #21283 .
Folio. Black cloth spine bound with cloth ties; printed paper over boards. Text contain three pages of explanation and illustrations of Japanese papermaking, as well as samples of the three basic materials: Khozo (Broussonetia kijinoki), Mitsumata (Edgeworthia papyriferae) and Gampi (Wikstroemia sikokina). This is followed by 51 large samples of handmade papers suitable for wallcoverings.
A dealer label is affixed to the upper board, somewhat bent at the corners; some of the samples have been folded at the corners, else this is a very good copy of a scarce item, with only mild rubbing of the boards.
