Two volumes, three-ring notebooks bound in blue cloth. Monthly mimeograph sheets on weaving, with a sample or samples mounted along with instructions for duplicating them. The earliest issue is named 'Warp and Weft' edited by Prophil,(two complete issues frtom Volumer V, plus additional sheets which look to be from the same but without the fist pages). Later sheets are captioned simply 'Weaving Sheet' and bear different editor names, such as Margaret Richards, Anita Doll, Ona James, etc. but usually without other publishing indicia. On many of the sheets the former owner has written the month and the year of the issue which we have used for dating purposes. The earliest are dated 1951, then through the 1960's,. and ending in November, 1972.
Volume one covers the period from 1951 to 1967 and contains 116 sample swatches. Volume two continues form 1967 to 1972 with 81 samples. Generally very good to fine condition. Altogether there are 86 8½ by 11 inch sheets in the first binder and 70 in the second, all punched for three rings.
