Folio. Unpaginated (30 full size leaves, plus additional smaller leaves for various effects. Bound in decorated paper boards over a red leather spine, red leather corners. Fulle size cur of an elephant atop a cut out 'ball' which spins under his feet. Gray endpapers, top edge rough-cut, fore- and bottom edges uncut, title page in red, blue, ochre, and black with a cut of a hoop-spinner and acrobatic cat. Most text in black, illustrations throughout in multiple colors. One of 12 copies, each numbered and signed, this no. 5. Enclosed in a slipcase with paper sides printed with illustrations in black and titles in brown.

Here is the Circus arriving, setting up the tents, a magician, jugglers, elephants. clowns, trapeze and high-wire artists, more clowns, lions and, finally, the circus has gone until next time. Printed on paper handmade by the artist, with his linocut illustrations taken directly from the blocks, in black, pink. brown, ochre, oraneg, blue, purple.
