Oblong quarto (10 x 13 1/2 inches; 254 x 343 mm.). [2] pp. of text plus eight colored lithograph plates with movable parts, each with a tab to set the scene in motion. The eight moveables are all completely functional and in very good condition. There are some minor repairs and restoration. A two tabs have been replaced and others strengthened, the chair on the first movable has been replaced, general light soil and wewar but still a very good copy of a fragile toybook first published in German as Schau Mich An! (Schreiber, 1888).
The movable plates are: Father Christmas, Sambo and Topsy, The Carpenters, The Obstinate Donkey, The Nursery, At the Barber's, The Three Musicians, Fido.
