First Canadian edition of the second book in Mary Stewart's Arthurian trilogy. A neat gift inscription on the upper corner of the reverse of the front free endpaper, else a fine copy. The dustwrapper is not price-clipped. It is very slightly sunned on the spine else it is fine and bright.
This is the first Canadian issue, printed by Hodder and Stoughton in London, identical to the first edition but with the addition of Musson Book Company, Toronto, on the title page, the maple leaf at the base of the spine and the price in Canadian dollars..
