Third edition. Folio, bound accordion book. 32 leaves of heavy card printed. Fifteen full page illustrations in full color of fabric bags used to house tea jars or kettles for use in the traditional tea ceremony. Each plate contains four images with a facing letterpress explanation in Japanese. Both the plates and the letterpress printings are tipped in. The boards are covered in a printed paper with a paper label to the upper board. This is the third printing, preceded by two printings in larger format, but scarce in its own right. The boards are worn at the edges, and the color plates have pulled away at the corners where they are adhered, with some resulting tearing of the paper though not affecting any of the images.
