Illustrated with 3 full page chromolithograph plates to each volume, including frontispieces, and 30 black and white plates. Finely bound by Zaehnsdorf in half maroon-colored morocco, spines in six compartments with raised bands, intricate gilt in a floral design; marbled paper boards and endpapers; top edges gilt. Boards somewhat faded and rubbed, light wear to the edges and corners else this is a near fine set.
