(Easthampton, MA): Cheloniidae Press & Wonder Book Editions, (2019). Limited edition. Broadside. Fine. Item #24700

Small folio. One of about 18 lettered sees. Clamshell cloth-covered case with printed label on the upper board. Two separate portfolios each with 12 broadsides engraved after designs by the late Alan Robinson printed letterpress on stiff card.

The total print run of the broadsides was 130 copies, of which 30 were reserved for the complete portfolio sets. Inventory records show, however that Robinson complete only about 18 sets before his death.

Each broadside depicts a person or an event which we would not have but for books: Alice, the Headless Horseman, The Black Cat, Moby Dick, and so on. These broadsides are mirrored with complementary images in the second portfolio which was reserved for complete sets only.

A fine, as new set, finely printed by Art Larson.

The last offering from the Cheloniidae Press. This is letter 'G'.
